Although you now say that you will make clear the implications of Conservation Area status, this has certainly not been the case in the past. I am told that at the auction of Fieldway Green, for example, the auctioneer was told of the severe planning constraints before the sale, but did not mention this to prospective purchasers. Furthermore he apparently, and quite explicitly, described the land as 'a roundabout' - when a more accurate description would have been 'community open space'.

I trust that your statement will cover all of the above points, as well as the ones mentioned in my previous message.

Incidentally, I am sorry that my email of 5th April was sent to the wrong address - but it must have been the one quoted most prominently on your website at the time for 'contact' purposes. Surely it would have been possible for whoever received that email to have forwarded it to you or to another appropriate individual?

Yours sincerely,

Mike Chitty
