DECISION (continued)

Councillor Warren Bradley and, with the permission of the Committee, five objectors, including a representative of Save our City, addressed the meeting, together with two local residents in support of the proposals, the applicant's representative, the scheme Architect and a representative of the Housing Action Trust.

Motion by the Chair, seconded by the Deputy Chair,

That the recommendation, as amended in respect of Condition 2 and Condition 26, be approved.

Amendment by Councillor Stephen Hurst, duly seconded,

That in addition, the following Informative be added to the
recommendation:

2. That the developer and the applicant maintain dialogue with the community in relation to any necessary changes which may be required in the future to the planning permission granted.

During the course of the debate, the Amendment was accepted and on being put as the Substantive Motion and carried (8 Members voting in favour and none against) it was resolved accordingly (Councillor Bob Lancaster not voting).
